Belongs to Nha Trang, the coastal capital of Khanh Hoa Province in the center of southern Vietnam, Cam Ranh International Airport was opened in 2009 and is the main airport to serve the city of Nha Trang. In the past, there was an old airport located in Nha Trang but it’s not used for commercial flights.
Until 2007, Cam Ranh was upgraded to an international airport. This airport is equipped with modern and professional services, shopping, currency exchange, ATMs, and transportation options. There are 2 local flights to the island, which are Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific.
They offer regularly scheduled flights to and from Nha Trang (Cam Ranh) airport. In addition, there are also several airlines are offering charter or planning scheduled international flights. On the path from Cam Ranh International Airport to Nha Trang City Centre, the drive heads through the wonderful scenery of wide-open farmland with a backdrop of mountains and the occasional view of the East Vietnam Sea.
